I just watched a play through of this game and I am just thinking
WOW
This game is so amazing in every aspect. The music, the levels, the bosses, the unique themes. Nintendo wishes they can make a 2D Mario game as good as this. I hope to one day get this game for myself and enjoy it to it's full extent.
So I want to know what you guys think of the game whether you played it or watched a play through of it.
My rating?
OVER 9000/10!

I played it and enjoyed it a lot. I honestly think it's better than the terrible NSMB2 in every aspect. The visuals are stunning (though there are a few errors) and the level design is superb. One of the most ambitious Mario hacks out there.

I played this hack and I fucking loved. It was way better than the previous NSMB games. The visuals were amazing and free level design was flawless. Defintley my favorite hack on Wii/Wii U.

I finished the game 1 year and a week ago, wow I see that coming , it was awesome and really cool levels 10/10.
Though if anyone's liked NSLU challenge , go check Newer Super Luigi Wii thread for the progress, I heard they will release this soon.

Great game, probably one of the highest quality mods I've ever seen alongside Project M and such. I still need to get around to finishing it at some point because it has so much goddamn content (a good thing!).
It really better than any of the real NSMB games, in my opinion.

I have 3 questions:
Does it work on PAL wii?
Is it secure to have it on my wii?
Does it run correctly without lag?

Yes to all 3.

There are other ways to launch it besides Riivolution. I think you can run it from the Homebrew Channel (installed with Smash Stack or something). If you don't mind me asking though, why can't you use Riivolution?
Also, I'm sure it's available pre-patched somewhere you can find with a Google search, but the website ( http://www.newerteam.com) doesn't distribute it this way.

Im pretty sure Riivolution requires that you use the actual game disc. My Wii's disc drive hasnt worked for some time now. All games I play on it now are roms that I play through USB Loader.
I have the Homebrew Channel though since I need that (I think) to run USB Loader.

Yes, that is correct (about Riivolution needing a game disc). I'm fairly sure that you'll have to use a pre-patched ISO then. I'm sure you can find one pretty easily if you search around a bit.

I LOVE THE GAME BUT I DONT HAVE THE RIGHT DAMNED SD CARD TO PUT THE HOMEBREW CHANNEL ON.
I have the game on my Dolphin emulator which is on a USB (mostly because that would be a Space whore if I left it there.)
Probably because Nintendo made NSMBU, the Newer team will make a Newer Super Mario Bros. U with it.
I'm sure they won't be able to do that with Mario Maker though.

I don't think so. Maybe?
Yes.
And Yes.

The Wii U's barely been hacked yet, and the Newer Team has not expressed interest in developing a sequel, so this is highly unlikely.
Also, you can launch Newer in several ways that do not require the Homebrew Channel or a small SD card (specifically Riivolution). There's a tutorial on the website, I suggest you try it.

Ugh... It was a joke, Pseudo-Dino...
I tried Riivolution. I couldn't get it right, so, I use dolphin. I hate the unanimated coins and the lagging, though.
It has been 4 years since the Wii U's launch, so someone will eventually hack it soon...
The Wii lived for a long while until it got screwed with. Then, hacked and modified Wii's became very common.
And no, I looked it up. You absolutely have to have an SD card. (unless you get USB loader by getting the Homebrew channel by downloading it on a SD card!!)

Oh yeah you definitely need an SD card, you said "the right" SD card so I assumed you had one but it was too big (some launch methods don't work unless your SD card is under 2 GB since it's a slightly different format otherwise). Sorry, my mistake.
