Stirc is something I made in late 2013 over at Knux's forums, it involves the adventures of either 3 protagonists, Sluggy, Fire-Top, and Slugzo, trying to all deal with each other. Almost everything in this comic is hand-drawn with just a mouse in Paint.NET, so it takes quite a good amount of time to make these.

They aren't based on users from anywhere BTB, they're my own original characters
Also, that was a problem I'm wasn't sure how I would fix, but reading your post made me think of a better way to fix it

While this is NOT a comic update, I did actually find some extremely old concept art for Fire-Top, Slugzo, and others that I thought would be worth sharing
Slugzo:
Fire-Top
As you can see here, Fire-Top hasn't changed a single bit. Literally, he's the exact same thing as shown in the comics
Although, Slugzo is a different case, he was much more like a carbon copy of Sluggy the Unshaven from Super Mario World 2; Yoshi's Island
iirc this isn't even the oldest concept art for Slugzo, there is one where he looks a bit more like Sluggy the Unshaven.
And then there are other concept arts of such creatures like Fuzzy and East, all the way back in 2005. They're way older than 2005, but this is the only early art I could find of them
East:
East is.. A really funny case. A lot of my creatures were Pokemon influenced, and as such, when they grow stronger, they take a different form. East back in the day either had bat wings or just arms, but his fluffy tail was missing. That was, until he grew stronger, he then grew the fluffy tail and got shitloads longer in length. The only thing that stayed was his general shape, and his yoshi-esque shoes.
Fuzzy:
Fuzzy's general concept was quite different from her nowadays. She had shoes like East, and as such, was able to run fast. But, her fangs were missing from this as well, her general shape is still here, but that's really all that's the same from her
Goopy:
Okay so Fuzzy and East's concept arts were back way in the olden days of when I was a baby, but Goopy's was actually back in 2009-2010. The best thing about Goopy is that.. Well, I doubt any of you know this, but there are actually multiple versions of Goopies, from Robo-Goopy, to Float Goopy, to Buff Goopy, Blackhole Goopy, and even Jetpack Goopy. They were basically the minions of the Goopy King, named Max. I still have this art laying around, but I'm too lazy to upload every concept art of Goopy that I have available, and make sure it's a decent photo as well. I know for a fact that I'm going to eventually remaster Robo-Goopy, Float Goopy, and Jetpack Goopy, but Buff Goopy and Blackhole Goopy will remain in the graveyard. I'm on the line of remastering Max and not remastering Max. I really, and I mean, REALLY love his design, but the problem is drawing him, as he's basically a giant king cyborg Goopy, and if I remaster him, I can add so much onto him it may begin to be a pain drawing him. But who knows, I remember he was fun to draw.
And speaking of the Goopies, you may think that Jetpack Goopy will have the same "mouth-snout" thing that all Goopies have, but Jetpack Goopy actually had fangs and an underbite. Just wanted to mention that.
That's all the character specific concept arts I had found laying around really.. Although I did find a few creatures that I may remaster someday, like this one and this one as well..
