SM:Mario's tale (update)

My second episode that i didn't post it on projects because i finish it very speed
Now have a world ma,one level more,some levels are bigger now,levels have more graphics
story:
This the first story of mario bros that they aren't famous but just two original plumbers.The story start one day that luigi get a messege from the king of the town that they live and say that king wants every one expect luigi when mario wake up luigi shy him tha he must go to town center when mario go there king stay to speak to people tha Bowser have already take over the capital city of mushroom kingdom and the princess cam form there Bowser cam and take the princess and go to his castle far away fom here then the king shy mario cam to speak with him the he shy to him to go find the princess and save the mushroom kindom from bowser now mario must go find the koopa castle but fix the problems tha bowser make.

Just wondering, what was your episode?
On topic : Judging from the screenshots, the level design looks very flat, bland and boring. I recommend you add more slopes and more challenges to make it more fun for players to play. Also, there's clash almost everywhere, but I guess that's not the most important factor for the project to be fun.

Most episodes have too many slopes, IMO.

What?
The point of slopes is to not have a flat linear like level, I for one wouldn’t really play a level for example that goes right all the time without some up and down hills to slide on.

SMB3 was the introduction to the slope, yet they're not used in every level. Standard wood, castle, underwater, and airship stages all lack these tiles.

That’s why people made the expanded tilesets which include them for Smbx.
Just cause Nintendo does it like this doesn’t mean we should also

It was their decision to make slopeless levels. Their decision not to use slopes on the bottom of a level. I really hate it when people do that. Putting slopes to make things look "natural". It's a Mario game. You can't ride a cloud in real life. You won't die if you touch a fish swimming at 1 mile per hour. Real landscapes are amorphous, so why should level design in a Mario game follow suit?

Just adding slopes to a boring level does not make it anymore interesting. Also judging from the screenshots and the random parts of Eclipsed's video I have seen, the episode looks fine in its current state (the older criticisms may have been true for earlier versions), and I don't think adding more slopes would improve the level design.

Uhm, don’t compare video games with real life? Anyway I would like to drop this discussion now.
