SMW Hack Music

Postby Black Mamba » Tue Jul 08, 2014 5:45 pm

Has anyone have any mp3 versions of music from any famous SMW hacks like TSRPR or Mario's Keytastrophe? I'm making a SMW styled project and it would help immensely if I could get that. (I put this topic in the general section because I couldn't find any other place to put it)

You can get .mp3s of whatever you want as long as it is a YouTube video using this:
http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
All you gotta do is put in the link to the video and it converts the video into a .mp3 file. One thing: the video has to be under 20 minutes. If you wanna use a video longer than 20 minutes try another converter but this is the quickest and safest one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUvofmUj2Uc (This is one I extracted, and it's a remix of dreadful fight from Final Fantasy Legend 2)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nKkYPLql6M A remix I found of S.S. Tidal from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerals using SMW Soundfont!

Hope these help :p

If all else fails, you can download SNES9X and the hacks in question and use it's audio recording feature to record the songs yourself. You won't even need to worry about starting the recording too early because you could use an MP3 cutter (I use http://mp3cut.net/ ).

Press F1 in ZSNES and hit the record SMC button. This will save a .smc file in your rom directory.

Get Winamp and the SNES plugin, change preferences so that the SNES plugin is selected instead of the Nullsoft one and play the .smc file. It will be saved as a .wav file, so use a converter to turn it into a .mp3 file. Hope this helps!
