Basic Grass Level

So I made a level. My first in about 2+ years made 3/4 in Wohl's PlatGEnWohl and 1/4 in the actual SMBX. I playtested this a couple times and tested everything. However, we are humans and we make mistakes. I noticed my events weren't working at one point even after I set them up. If they don't work let me know and I'll fix them.

I call this "Basic Grass Level". It's good as a first/second level in the first world and is SMB1/SMB3 styled using graphics primarily from Valtteri. I won't post too many screenshots because well it's a level and I want you to download it and play it lel. Some things to note:

-Red goombas behave like red koopas meaning they have cliffturn=1 enabled.
-If you miss a red coin and you're still in the first section, it is possible to go back and get all of them as Mario.
-Play as either Mario or Luigi
-My goal is not to be the most amazing super technical with 12308914 custom graphics. My style is in Mario so I make Mario levels.

I'm accepting any and all constructive criticism. Believe me, it's been about 2+ years since I've made a level and I really want to get back into it so I need all the help I can get!

Basic Grass Level indeed. Honestly, the level is so short and simple, I can't really think of much to say about it other than what you already said about it being good as a filler level in an episode. Hmm...

Well, the warp that leads to two of the red coins is fairly miss-able, even though it is indicated by not having a piranha plant. Plus, there's no indication that the red coins are only before the midpoint, so I completely missed those two coins on my first play-through. Also, the reward for collecting all of the red coins may not even be worth it since the ? block is set to random and might produce a fire flower (that actually happened to me when I first made it there). I recommend that, if you're going to release a single level by itself, you should have the secret(s) lead to another section and an alternate exit; it's more rewarding than a simple power-up.

In conclusion, I'd say this level deserves a 5/10. Sure, it didn't do anything wrong, but then again, it didn't do much of anything to begin with. It is the very definition of an average level.
