Back in the months when reghrhre was admin here and had the forum link of mine and his forum Joey removed it because it wasn't cool for a admin supporting this.

But suddenly Ghosthawk is allowed to do so.

This is kinda unfair imo because reghrhre only had the link in it and it got removed without a warning. Ghosthawk has the link for a very long time now and no one removed it even though he is part of the staff.

I would like a explaination for this.

Dunno, probably users are more inclined to follow reghrhre because of community trends. On the other hand, GhostHawk promoting a forum wouldn't garner much activity for that forum...

Yeah, Joey should explain this for sure. Even if it was advertising for another forum, why should Joey be opposed to that? It would be like the NSMBX admins banning Chad or something from posting links to Knux's (where he was also an admin). It's just an alternative forum, I don't see the problem.

usually if it's a link in the signature any other board would be okay with it, so i don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. reghrhe has the link in his sig now and it hasn't been removed.

That's the thing though, when I was admin I had the link in my sig the whole time but it still got removed due to me being a staff member but GhostHawk has had a link to yours for awhile now and it hasn't been removed despite him being a staff member

I'm not sure about this since I didn't know reg had a link in his sig. Maybe this has to do with me not linking to another SMBX forum? Idk, I'll ask Joey if he hasn't seen this thread yet.

Removing reghrhre's link from his signature was a mistake on my part in the first place.

For what it's worth, though, the link GhostHawk has in his signature isn't really as much of an SMBX forum as the one reghrhre has in his signature. Still, though, what Knux said is pretty much correct - I removed reghrhre's because I wanted to make sure the activity that was drawn into this place wouldn't be lost (and that people would blindly follow reghrhre into that forum). That was also many months ago, but yeah, it wasn't the best decision on my part.

To be honest, you're still quite stupid to think that an administrator would influence all of your activity onto that forum.

He already said it was a mistake.

I understand it was one but the forum doesn't have a lot of activity anyway since most people either just spend their time here.

That's not entirely true. I mean, it's kind of hard to blame someone for not wanting traffic to be lost to yet another SMBX forum, especially during the early stages of this board. Was it overreacting? Sure. Stupid? Not really.

Uhm.... i said the forum me and reghrhre have didn't had a lot of activity it was kinda stupid to think just because reghrhre did it means automatically everyone would left. No one would because people liked this place.

Now do as i said and lock this u people can argue on the chat.
