ive got a problem with custom music. if i use custom music in the worlds folder, it works with single levels. but if i put it into an episode folder, i dont works. can someone help me?

it worked with a music that was in another episode, but with my downloaded music (mp3) it dont works.

Did you type 'musicname.mp3' in the custom music window in level settings? This requires the music file to b in the same directory as the .lvl file.

thats what ive done but the song isnt playing it isnt working with custom music that IVE downloaded. its really wierd

When entering anything in the text field, the playing music jumps back to "none". You need to select "custom".

i know. it worked with music from another episode but not with the music that ive downloaded. i said that it works with levels

Read the first post again. Are you trying to access custom music in a subfolder from the worlds folder from a level inside the worlds folder?
If so, try typong *episodeorsubfoldername*\*mp3name*.mp3

Where did you download the music from?

I know tons of websites which do this and all of them work for me. I'm out of ideas on how to help you as you've been a bit vague about the problem so far. Maybe take some screens of the folder in which the music file is in, the properties of the music file, the Misc. Level settings tab of the level you're trying to use the music in and the folder in which the level file is in, if it's not the same one as the one in which the music file is in.

Oh youtube to mp3? Yeah this happened to me also sometimes when you download a mp3 file and try putting it on smbx it won't play even when you select Custom you won't hear anything. Thats why i mostly download the theme i need from videogamesoundtrack sites or Khinsider the FFShrine Forum.

I can also tell you one thing. If a file is corrupt or is too strong to read on SMBX it also might the case of your problem. You can try to find another Music or the same one but from a different Website.

Sometimes .mp3s just don't work, and I have no idea why. Have you tried redownloading the file?

now i found a good website to download music! this can be locked now.
