If you need to edit sprites in the files, then where do you find the sprites? I don't have any SMBX folder in my pictures. Any help?

That's Easy, look for where you installed SMBX, for me it's E:\Program Files\SMBX\graphics and there are all the folders, but if you want your sprites to show up as they should, when you make a folder in worlds.. like so E:\Program Files\SMBX\worlds\Adventure Island.
Within that folder, you then make corresponding folders to the level you save in said "world" folder for me it's Adventure Island.. and my first level is called Level 1, so then that folder should have the same name as the level name.
E:\Program Files\SMBX\worlds\Adventure Island\Level 1 the folder Level 1 is where i store custom graphics, for mario as well as enemies and tiles.
Within THAT folder, you copy images you want to be different for you "world", and edit them from there.. it is suggested that you do NOT edit the existing image files in \SMBX\graphics, copying them for your levels is the the best way to go about it.
I hope all that helps... i tend to suck at explaining things.

If your asking HOW to make a custom playable, than, it's NOT easy. Playables often take mouths to make.
