I've gone ahead and changed two ranks (Sparky and Disco Shell) to new ranks to avoid this issue.
If you have anything in your signature or anywhere that can cause this issue, please remove it or at the very least make it a spoiler.

Knux, for some reason, you are the only one who cares about flashing forum ranks that are 32x32 pixels on the right side of the screen. I, for one, almost never look at someone's rank for more than 3 seconds. And besides, we all play SMBX that is 100% flashing images which isn't any different from forum ranks. Maybe the kamikaze shell was a bit much but a sprite that has two frames and used as a tiny rank image is probably not gonna hurt anyone.

Thats because SMBX has tons of colors which makes it hard to spot the flashing one. The reason they (might've) removed the Kamizake Koopa Shell rank was because the posts has white sizeables which makes easier to spot the Kamikze Koopa Shell.

Knux, I appreciate your willingness to help users who have problems with flashing images, but nobody has complained yet and I feel like the OP is ungrounded.

You would still be seeing flashing things. Think about all of the levels.

If you have problems, there are .gif disabling extensions to remove any triggers.
