Super Mario Bros Z is an animation by Alvin Earthworm which has been cancelled 3 years-ish ago after 8 episodes. I know certain people here know about this.

I really enjoyed the series so it blew my mind when I stumbled upon this dA submission by Alvin:

In the description he says that he might rebuild the series from scratch. I'm hyped, what do you think?

I don't believe in age-range.

Yay! I loved SMBZ, and I was kinda disappointed when I found out that it got cancelled. To know someone's making a remake is enough to make my day, honestly.

If you go to Alvin's newgrounds profile you'll see the same post as the description of the submission. It's Alvin who (might) continue it. Not 'someone'

i was a fanboy for smbz back in like 2007
and then i completely forgot about it.

The 9th only got one scene released in March 2012, but I do remember this and kept watching it continuously. It was one of my favorite Mario famade shows si it's be great to see a scene 2 in episode 9

Everybody loved this back when I was in like 4th grade. The crossover was so awesome and honestly it was actually pretty well written and funny. If it's making a comeback that'd be really, really cool. Hella nostalgia.

Despite not having seen that much of DBZ, I really like this series. I hope he decides to remake it.

How...? There's no blood, and Shadow saying "hell" is the closest there is to swearing.

Oh yeah I haven't seen Dragon Ball Z at all but the series was still badass.

Also it's definitely not above the average user here's age range, there's no real violence and no swearing as Firespike said.

this is a big animated fanfiction, but is done good

I remember this. I was watching this while I'm 11. I liked it and watched all episodes. Then I got bored of this =( But it is still good.

Rukaisho is still working on SMBZ? NO KIDDING! I've seen it and I really like how he did it. It felt like it has the modern anime's HD and 3D qualities. I'm gonna miss the Pipe Maze and regular Mecha Sonic, but I admit the Pipe Maze was more like a filler. The best part was the battle against Mecha Sonic, and Luigi's courage that led him to another disaster.

Hmmm... just found it recently, I was gonna Binge-Watch 2-8, But maybe i should wait and see if he will do the remake, and just watch that...(also I never Saw DbZ, The closest i came to watching it was Superman vs Goku lol)

Oh, you should watch the ones that are out so far. They're really good, and they'll help with the possible hype for future episodes.

This was real cool. I bet one of the things we would see if they continued is a Super Saiyan Mario of some sort. I did love it.

I remember this flash way back in 200X, it was a fantastic animation!
I'm really sad to know that there aren't any further updates about this. Though I have never watched episode 9 of SMBZ. Actually, is ep9 realeased before?
