My first level: Underground

They're not that bad, but they're not that good either.

My first level: Underground

It only has the basic texture blocks and NPCs when you start the level editor for SMBX. Not sure about what I should name it...
There is one secret passage to a star through.

I didn't play it, but I watched the video. There are some design flaws (some blocks too big, too much open space, not enough slopes/tile differentiation), but nothing that causes problems. I'm impressed with your usage of events as well, especially given that this is your first level.

Of course it has flaws. First tries aren't meant to have no flaws. Not sure what you meant by open space/slopes, but I think I can make some blocks smaller. It might increase the difficulty through.

What you should really have is some BGOs. At least in the grassland section.

What I mean is that there are a lot of big blocks and open spaces that don't need to be there. The caves could use a few more slopes since...well, they're caves! Either that or make the pathways smaller.

Level Review: Underground

Summary: This level is great for your first. I'd say this is pretty much everyone's first level. Decent block placement, decent NPC and enemy placement, decent everything. The level is longer than I expected, but that doesn't change the fact that it's great. The music is really awesome. That SM64 music is amazing! I really love it. Also, it may sound rediculous, but I don't know what the on/off button is for. Call me crazy, laugh at me, I don't care. Also, the lava flowing part is pretty hard, but it's cool.

I'd say that's a wrap for this review. I'd love to see more levels made by you! This one is really cool. I'd be glad to review more! :)
