Hi guys,
I have a problem with Windows 7. It isn't directly related to SMBX but it's an annoying problem that I can't solve.
Look over there:

The images of the graphics doesn't display, so I must open the files to view them.
Do you know how to fix this issue? It worked some time ago, but not now.

That happens in Windows 7. I don't think you can fix that.

Maybe you can change the view, like how they display on the Folder if that is the case. If not then restart your PC but that could of been way off track by just doing that. Also, I kind of have the same problem but only by Video Files (AVI) but meh, for me it doesn't really matter.

Restarting didn't work, but it's strange because it displayed the gif files some time ago.
I don't know why it doesn't anymore.

When you click on the picture does it opens in Paint.NET? Try to click on the image with right mouse button and then click "Open with.." and choose "Microsoft Office Picture Manager". Maybe this will work? Well, I'm not really sure.

Yes it opens. Also if I click on preview it displays it. It just doesn't display the image in the folder, and it's really annoying.
I tryied, but nothing :(

It still doesn't work. The strange thing is that it displayed the images some time ago.

It works fine on Windows 7 Professional, so that's not true. Don't make shit up please.

As for your problem, I'd try restarting. Maybe using GIMP instead would fix the problem? (I don't know really, as this has never happened to me before)

What brand of windows are you using? (Premium, Professional, etc.)

Can you please stop harassing me like you always do whenever I make a post?
I was saying that because it happened to me.

Strange, it should appear like this:
Spoiler: show
Image
But since it doesn't show for you I can't really help much except for changing how they view on a folder but how to describe it is another Story.

You put to auto-open with Paint.NET?

We'll guys I tried everything, I'll try to use gimp. And yes, I set paint.net as the default program and, bossedit8, it appeared like that some time ago.

Try setting Windows Picture Viewer or whatever to default, I'm afraid.

hello, I believe I can help you if you're still having this issue.

It looks to me as if thumbnails in windows have been disabled. To turn them back on, open an explorer window, and press the ALT key. A menu should appear. Choose Tools and then Folder options. In the new dialogue box, click the view tab. Make sure that the very first option "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is not checked. If it is, that is why you are not seeing previews.

I hope this helps!

Folder Options - View tab - uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails'

Okay no one here actually has any idea what they're talking about except maybe MrRadioactiveEx.

You problem is that you set paint.net as the default program to open the graphics with. What this does is change the thumbnail of the file type (in this case gif) to the the .pdn thumbnail which is the paintbrush over a paper like you have currently. If you reset the default "open file with" to Windows Photo Viewer (I think that's the default) it should fix your problem.

What you need to do is not have .gif files opened by paint.NET by default. If you right click -> open with -> choose default program, you can pick something like Photo Gallery and tick the "Always open with this program" box. That should fix it.

I repeat, the strange fact is that my PC displayed those files some time ago but now it doesn't.
I think it's a problem of my computer...
