Sorry but I died yesterday and was sent to the emergency room so I couldn't do fuck all. Still feeling kind of bleh everywhere today so I don't actually know when I'll feel in the mood to play dota.

I think I'll hold this off until about the weekend anyway, tbh.

Actually, this sounds pretty good

I enjoy DOTA and League but I'm horrible at both. So getting lessons from someone that's NOT my friend yelling in my ear most of the time could help me immensly I think. I know the basics of League and I've played a couple of games but I'm not sure how much of it will transfer well to DOTA

there are indeed some skills that transition into dota like last hitting,map awareness, etc etc etc
but there's alot of differences like
trilanes
you wont buy boots first in normal situations
mana is pretty precious so you don't want to waste your spells
locking the camera on the hero is a thing you don't want to do in dota
u can kill ur own creeps if they're low hp to deny enemy's experience and gold
