Contra Diction

Worked on this for a total of 2+ hours. It's a crazy level I made while I was half-bored half-tired, I sort of made this level just to make the joke in it's name. It's also a shitty level so yeah. This level will be featured in The Gate to Star Land, my work-in-progress short episode. Hope you like it. Report any bugs you find to me.

I somehow liked this level pretty much it shows that you can do good stuff even without using slopes like in the beginning. I don't have anything bad to say about it.
Right have a video.

Review - Contra Diction

This level actually made me smile, not gonna lie.

What I Liked
-You managed to condense either one world of SMB1 or the entire game into one level, it was really cool and you covered alot of ground without it getting boring and repetitive
-The fuck you fish were brilliant
-Classic bowser fight
-Minimal custom graphics
-Your events were well timed, I liked that

What I Didn't Like
-This can happen during the Bowser fight
-Your platforms are really fucking weird. Like, why do they projectile out.

Atmosphere: the contra music mixed with the Mario 1 graphics went surprisingly well, good choices all around really. and the continuousness gave it a Contra-meets-Mario mix. 9/10

Gameplay: nothing felt repetitive and as I stated above, I like that you condensed most of SMB1 into pretty much one level. 9/10

NPC Placement: NPCs were plentiful and in all the right places *cough*thefuckyoufish*cough*. 9/10

Graphics: Classic graphics, I would've liked to see the extended tilesets used but eh, it worked nicely. 8/10

Overall Score: 8.75/10 i lav
