Creepy mario game music

^Ghost house in 64, at one point even the ghost house music in SMW, but number 1 for me is definitely River Twygz Bed in Paper Mario. I got nightmares because of it. It doesn't fit into a Mario game at all, I mean, what the hell Nintendo?!

For me its both part one and two of the shadow queen battle music.
Back when I first played through the fights on PM2:TTYD it gave me chills and goose bumps... no lie!
Then again maybe it was the time and place when I was playing... late at night, October...

I played through SPM countless times when I was younger and never had any problems with the River Twygz music. Listening to it right now all I can say is that I find t really interestig and consider looping it for a few days.

I, sadly, can't think of any creepy Mario music track myself.

I don't see how River Twygz Bed is "creepy". It's really just a bunch of voice snippets reversed.
