How to have as many players as you want.

I found a trick that lets you have as many players as you want. I mean, there's some limit (I've only gone up to four) but I imagine you could do 8 with no problem. It's simple, just install SMBX for as many players as you want, change their controls, open them all, and now you have to split:

For one of them:
Click online -> start, choose "Server," and then set your name to something. A password is not required. When you're done, click start. This instance of the game will be called "The Server."

For all the others:
Click online -> start, choose "Client," then set their names. When you're done, click connect.

Then, start the game on the server, and all players should be there. I hope this helped you!

That's crazy and cool! Does SMBX crash as much if you're just connected to yourself?

It hasn't for me, though if you had too many, it would most likely get pretty slow.

"Online" is one of the drop-down options (file, edit, etc.) exclusive to the legacy editor.

This is exclusive to just the editor, correct? I can't use this when playing an actual episode, can I?
