I already have rechargeable battery packs for my Wiimotes, I actually got Energizer ones iirc. You set them on a charging stand or something like that and they charge up. They hold a good 4-6 hours worth of battery life. They're really nice.

I only have one problem with it...
I USE IT FOR ONE DAY, AND I HAD TO BUY HALF OF THE BATTERIES AT WAL-FRICKIN-MART JUST TO KEEP THE STUPID GAMEPAD WORKING FOR TWO HOURS!!!!!!!!!
No, really, that GamePad is a white, square shaped Kirby. It eats nothing but Double-A's, though.
You should get some rechargable batteries for it, would save you some time and money.
Nintendo should think about making rechargeable batteries for their remotes. We are in the 21st century after all.
They do make rechargeable batteries, my WiiU came with a recharge station and everything. The Gamepad is rechargeable, but yeah they dont seem to have batteries for the Wii Remotes. Pro Controllers are also rechargeable.

Yes I have rechargeable batteries, but I need to charge them over and over again... I can only use it fro like 2 hours on one gamepad.
Plus, the gamepad charger is too expensive.

Try reducing the screen brightness, and lower the volume of the Gamepad, that may increase the battery life some. And when the Gamepad is not in use i.e. when using other controllers, remember to turn off the Gamepad display via home menu, this will help it last even longer.

I don't ever use the gamepad screen for any of the games I play, but I still like the sounds it makes, but I could turn down the volume.

That's offensive. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who plays an FPS. (No, not CoD, before you tell me to go kill myself)
Anyways, the topic: I'll probably get a wii u once ssb4 is released.
