Everything that Nintendo announced looks awesome. Yarn Yoshi looked super uninteresting to me when they showed the original screenshots (probably because of the disgrace to the Kirby series that was Epic Yarn, not truly a bad game but definitely not a Kirby game), but after seeing actual gameplay showing it to be HD Yoshi's Island with a badass new art style, I am officially hyped for it.

Captain Toad looks super cool. I loved those levels in 3D World and it's great to see them expanded.

Kirby & the Rainbow Curse appears to be a Canvas Curse sequel, which is pretty cool. Canvas Curse was hella fun and had a really original concept and playstyle so I trust that they can pull off a sequel. It also evidently has real bosses that have the same gameplay style as levels, instead of being mini-games, which makes me really happy. That was one thing that really disappointed me about Canvas Curse. I hope this has as much content as the original game, which is something I really liked about it.

Yeah The Zelda Scrolls V: Skyrim looks good too although I'm not a huge fan of Link's design. I'm looking forward to footage, though.

Palutena in Sm4sh is hella hype. She is absolutely guaranteed to have an amazingly cool moveset. There's just no one like her. Miis are cool too I guess (and three different movesets is actually really awesome) but I feel like they're not "real" Nintendo characters. You can't use them in random online though so it won't turn out like Mario Kart.

amiibo looks tolerably unforced. I can almost see myself throwing money at this and building up a collection of figurines for the first time since I scoffed at the ridiculous idea when Skylanders came out. I doubt I actually will though.
I do actually like the idea of collecting figurines, though that's without much interest in being a huge collector and it's not something I'd be overly proud of. The fact that they have a functional purpose is what may convince me to buy some, if I do.
As it stands, I only have one Nintendo figure from Japan. Before now, I figured I'd leave my "collection" at that as well as some of the more functional merchandise from Club Nintendo.
(Actually if they release limited edition Club Nintendo NFC figurines I'm probably definitely going for them.)

Yoshi's Woolly World still looks like Epic Yarn but with Yoshi. The biggest difference is an updated appearance, which admittedly looks really pretty, but I still don't have high expectations for the gameplay. It's one of those things I'll probably keep an eye on and then not buy.

Captain Toad, of course, looks about par for my expectations.

Bayonetta 2 looks like a visual spectacle but I'm not otherwise a fan, and I don't expect it will be as good as its predecessor anyway. I recognize Hideki Kamiya's obvious passion for games, though. I own the other two games he wrote and directed simultaneously: Ōkami and The Wonderful 101. His role in Bayonetta 2 is only as a supervisor so I'm not sure what to make of that.

I've never played Dynasty Warriors so I expect that experiencing it in Hyrule form will actually be entirely fresh for me.

I have zero interest in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

Xenoblade Chronicles X... okay, so we have a name for it now. And a minute of dramatic footage. I suppose that's good enough.

I'm not impressed by Mario Maker but I didn't expect to be 'cause, you know, SMBX.

Nothing about Splatoon says "Nintendo-scale iconic" to me for a Nintendo EAD title, but it looks fantastic. I thought the squid was a blooper at first. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Mario Party 10... gamepad player gets to antagonize the other players as Bowser. I like this idea. Unfortunately the likelihood of me getting five people together to play a game like this is small.

I don't pay enough attention to Mario vs. Donkey Kong to note many differences in each iteration if there are any, but I still kind of preferred (and miss) the gameplay from when Mario and Donkey Kong squared off on the game boy title "Donkey Kong". That was one of the game boy's greatest games. A sequel to that would be an excellent addition to the eShop, provided they had anything to expand it from its predecessor other than a graphical upgrade.

Wait, you can't use Miis in online Smash? I figured their inclusion would be pretty necessary. Is it because the game factors height/size differences in individual Miis? I could see that affecting the balance. If not, I don't understand.
To me, they're just as much a part of Nintendo as any other weird thing Nintendo's ever created.

Sonic Boom... don't even talk to me about Sonic Boom. DON'T EVEN ASK.

That's all, for the most part, I could presume to have an opinion on.
Zelda, though.
I took a look at that overworld and I approve. I really hope this is finally Nintendo bringing what they'd set out to bring from the 2D plane to the 3D plane ever since the N64 days—a truly vast and open world.

Okay, where to begin:

Firstly, I loved the Nintendo direct event, especially with the humour and developer interviews. Really hope they keep it up with this entertaining and informative presentations, things like that cannot be done at a conference.

Games:
Yoshi's Woolly World = Yoshi's Island + Kirby's Epic Yarn. Definitely not a bad looking game, though i hope it recieves a better reception then New Island.
Smash Bros = I'm more interested in this series then I was before, while admittedly not a big fan of fighting games. It's shaping up to be a good game, with lots of content, and I quite liked the inclusion of the Miis, albeit very predictable. I'm considering getting the game, maybe even both copies, though perhaps not at full price.
amiibo = Why does this feel so natural? Like, this seems much less of a cash grab then Infinity or Skylanders, as it will be used for multiple titles (admittedly all including Mario at the moment, dosen't really spread the love) The toys themselves look great as well. The natural fit for the Wii U's NFC slot, and I may buy a few myself, if the promised Smash Bros-levelling up is anything to go by.
Zelda U = Really not much to say. While the art style is gorgeous, I want to see some gameplay before I get to a judgement. The promise of an open world is there and good luck, but I want to see it in action, rather then just a landscape. Yes, I'm a bit skeptical although I hope for the best, but there's a lack of content to look over.
Splatoon = LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GAME. I first thought it was a Nicktoons game, but it's Nintendo trying their hands at a shooter. And I'm hoping this game is content-heavy, because this game looks original, unique and can hold it's own against the Call of Duty's of this world. It also reminds me of de Blob, not a bad thing. I really hope it sells well as I'm really looking forward to it - I'm going to place bets it'll be out in Spring 2015.
Captain Toads Treasure Trackers = Captain Toad: Full Game Edition. And a great-looking one at that. And the trailer was very well done, with gameplay a-plenty. I wonder how much gameplay there is with this game, because I'm hoping for many levels.
Mario Maker = SMBX>Mario Maker. Mario Maker gets consolation points because it's official.
Codename: S.T.E.A.M = Looking good, and bizarre, though I'm not too sure on the shooter-based gameplay. Still, I'm willing to give this a try :)
Fantasy Life = I was hoping for a Dragon Quest game, and still do, though I remember being excited for this one, and this game looks to be a long one. However, I want to wait out for one of the five Dragon Quest games to be released here, and buy this cheaper. Sorry, Fantasy Life.
Devil's Third = Way too much tattoos. And blood. But still, it's a Wii U exclusive.
Mario Party 10 = Bowser Chase 2k14. Really not much to say.
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong = Kinda looks like the last one in HD.
Bayonetta 2 = I'm more interested in this then I was. The gameplay looks fluid and fast-paced. And the original will be bundled in with it! Basically 2 games for 1, which is a bonus!! If you're certain you'll like it, which I'm not, so buying it discounted will be the route I'm taking if I choose to purchase it at all.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse = Nothing to say apart from it looks good.
Star Fox U = Similar to Zelda U. Gameplay please. And perferably not waiting 3 or 4 years for release, thank you.
Project Guard/Project Giant Robot = Too ealry to come to any conclusions, but if these are the new IPs Miyamoto was talking about then time is the best thing for these games at the moment.
Xenoblade Chronicles X = Best name ever 10/10. Still, I am interested in this game, however.
Indie games = There's lots of them. I don't remember the trailer of the top of my head, but it's good to see so much support for the Wii U/3DS eShop.

Other Stuff:
Kingdom Hearts 2.5 = Disappointed about no Mirage Arena Online. The time ocnstraints excuse is bollocks. Still, I'm loving the HD visuals! :)
GTA V Next-Gen = Predictable.
Anything not said wasn't that remarkable or interesting in my opinion. Which is basically everything else.
