Camera Control for the Mulitplayer Split-screen

This is a request to the programmer of SMBX for the next SMBX update. Since I have a camera issue while the screen splits during multiplayer, that is I can't see much vertically during horizontal split-screen and vice versa, I would love to have a new key/button for scrolling the camera.

So when the screen splits vertically, players would press the camera-button to scroll the camera to where the player-character heads.

As for the horizontal split-screen, players, may want to press the mentioned button to see what's below them; and hold up and press that button to see what's above them.

Thank you for your understanding.

lol Smbx is not unlegal. Also yeah the original creator stopped working on it you should ask Wohlstand who has replied here if he can do it so.

My answer:
I will consider your question and I will save this, and when I will start coding of engine part, I can get this for implementing. I think, this option must be exist. Especially in original SMW for SNES it already implemented.

I don't think you understand in the slightest.

Hello, Murmursixtfour, you must be new to this community.

We can't add anything new to SMBX, as we do not have the source code.

I really wish Joey had posted this somewhere, or people have at least read the rules. If GhostHawk or Wohlstand or whoever is making a "new smbx", so be it, it's not going to be like the original, and I, in all honesty, highly doubt they would both get finished. You can make an engine, but can you make an editor?

Have you read any popular treads lately?

Nevertheless, Wohlstand's project has almost completely recreated the SMBX level editor, and the main game engine is planned to follow. This project shows more promise than any of the older remakes did, so I just want to say I fully support it!

Nothing can be added to the current version of SMBX. However, two new engines are in development, and here are the links:

PlatGEnWohl
Visual Super Mario Bros. X

That's where you're going to want to look in hopes of making suggestions.
And, so, I don't think there's a need for this thread anymore.
