Hyrule Warriors.

I'm sure many people watched the trailer by now, if you didn't here it is.
Spoiler: show
Post your thoughts on this game.

All LoZ games used to follow a certain system, which you all may know. Find a sword, and fight with it, but one thing is to fight 4 or 5 enemies, and another thing is to fight a crowd of enemies on your own. Honestly, I find this game quite unfitting and exaggerated in comparison with other sagas. I know this game is supposed to be based on Dynasty Warriors, but still it just doesn't feel quite ... warming and charm as the other sagas are.

I will buy it when it comes out. I like games with chaotic battles full of enemies to defeat, and with friends? Better.

I'll definitely try this game out, or at least wait for more information. Zelda games are great, and I've never played a Dynasty Warriors game before, so Hyrule Warriors sounds interesting. As for multiplayer, perhaps!

Hyrule Warriors is meant to be a sub-game and not in the actual timeline.

That doesn't mean anything, at least to me. It looks somewhat awkward since even if it has nothing to do with the rest of the sagas it somewhat ruins the feeling all sagas had.

Link's Crossbow Training (Wii)

I personally think this game looks fun. I think I'll pick it up some day, just to run down innocent enemies who aren't even good at fighting.

We're going to get a new core Zelda title revelaed this E3 anyways. This is a crossover/spinoff, just like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Pokemon Conquest were. They generally don't interfere with the main games.

I'm actually quite interested in this game. While it takes the Zelda series in a different direction both in story and gameplay, I really want to try this game out to see how well it holds together. While Dynasty Warriors games vary on quality, Nintendo won't let Hyrule Warriors be a bad quality game, especially because of the Zelda branding, so I have hopes that even if I personally dislike the game out of personal taste, I still would commend the game on technical merit.

I just hope it has a decent story to it. I definitely can't wait because I want to play a zelda game I HAVENT played before.
i.e.:
Ocarina of Time = Ocarina of Time 3D (Played and beat - 100%)
Link to the Past = Link Between Worlds (Been there, done that, Ravios unlimited everything supply and the purple-magic-for-all sucks apple fries)

I want to play something different and not a retro enhancement.
Yes, they better have a story instead of being a spin-off game just like ace said.
I WANT SOMETHING!!
and yeah, I'm stuck playing twilight princess.

But there's no ganon in ALBW so it can't be the same story

Dude what's a Skyward Sword or Wind Waker [HD]

Being a spinoff doesn't prevent a game from having a story.

Ya. In fact, I think Aonuma saying something about having a real story during the treehouse at E3. I'm actually really looking forward to this game.
There's also a lot more characters planned to be playable. When choosing a character at the E3 demo, there were extra slots for maybe 10 or more characters.
I just want to play as tingle, though. zelda plz ;__;

Ganon was in it and he merged with Yuga. And Yuga was Ganon at the same time in this form, the Demon King and the Triforce of Courage twisted his personality, thus having the same personality and attributes to Ganon. The thing about A Link Between Worlds is that it has a very similar plot to Ocarina of Time and some elements from Skyward Sword.

As for Hyrule Warriors, I seriously cannot wait to play the game. I've seen the trailers, the gameplay, and I really want the game! :D Despite it's a spin-off, I really wanted to play a Zelda game different than other Zelda games. And I'm confused. I've seen Link wielding the Goddess Sword and a soldier's shield, whilst the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield are in fact present. What does that mean?
