I can see Darbus being playable (probably in Fyrus form). How would Makar work though?

Fyrus form? and to be honest I am not quite sure how Makar would work, but what I mean is I just want someone from Wind Waker, but if this game comes out and Tingle is a playable person I hope none of you are like "Well there you go FM3434 there is your wish"

Fyrus would be fit to be a boss, not a playable character. He's freakin' huge!

Makar would obviously be a fast lightweight, trumping the hordes of enemies with his trusty Cello of Evil's Bane. Darbus would be nice to see in any form. Also, if every playable character but Link is female, I'll most likely smile, laugh, and then tell my friends about it, even though they'd know.

I can see him as a transformation, or something related to Midna. Hey, did you hear the news about Agitha and "the pig-tailed girl" yet? It's somewhat old news, but I never know what I don't tell you.

Horses, and even Epona, are highly possible to be included. Did you know Fi, Ghirahim and Demise (The Imprisoned) are featured in Hyrule Warriors? It's possible. Fi's a playble character. And she's female, if ya know wut I'm sayin'? ;)

It's possible Ganondorf is the mastermind behind all of the evil happening around the world. He's in it as well.

Well yeah if Ganon's confirmed to be in the game I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't turn out to be the main villain, like halfway through the game. I don't think he's ever been in a Zelda game and not been the antagonist.

He has. Sort of.
I mean, if you don't automatically count being the final boss as being the head of the driving antagonizing force, you could make a case for that.

While Zelda is of a bloodline, Link and Ganon seem to often just be reincarnations, and "Link" is mostly just a chosen name for the player character who becomes the hero (his looks always being similar notwithstanding). With this in mind, I could see an incarnation of Ganon as a miserable blacksmith or something. Sort of like how you see Majora's Mask in A Link Between Worlds, he might just end up in some game as a cameo-type NPC that forges your sword. I would enjoy the irony in that.
I mean like even if they had to stipulate that he isn't actually Ganon in order to appease the Hyrule Historia Fan Club, it would even be cool to see a Ganon-like character be developed as a good guy. Given how different this game is from normal Zelda content, and how it has already shifted Zelda's role in the plot, and the fact that it seems way more story oriented, this would honestly be the game to do it (or at least something else different) with the character.

Also,
This game needs more Groose.

There's only a single ganon, unless you want to count Demise who can be seen as the predecessor to Ganon.
Or you could say there's 2 since the timeline splits up, but it's the same guy in different timelines.

They might introduce villain characters. I'd love to see Ghirahim as a playable so he can be the antithesis of Fi in the game.

I was underwhelmed with the Fi reveal. The character doesn't seem to be very unique to me and I'm pretty sure Fi isn't popular with the Zelda fanbase.

More than Ghirahim, I would like the Skull Kid form Majora's Mask or Aghanim from Link to the Past to be a playable. I may have said this kind of games doesn't fit in the Zelda universe, but if I had to be 100% honest I'm somewhat excited.

Yes, there is a Ganon that appeared in Ocarina of Time who split amongst three timelines, and is executed in one of them only to be reincarnated, where in the next timeline over, Ganon is merely "revived". Why change your choice in words if it means exactly the same thing? Besides, if you consider reincarnations to be the same person, you could easily interpret that Ganon and Vaati are the same person since they're both incarnations of Demise. That's pretty much still up to interpretation, but for me there's more than enough evidence to justify different ones. I also just don't see the point in splitting hairs over what can't or shouldn't happen in a sequel. All it does is put arbitrary creative limitations on new content. With that said, a character who looks like Ganon being aptly named for his appearance yet not being an actual incarnation of Demise's hatred would make for a interesting character who would likely face a lot of prejudice.

That was never confirmed by Hyrule Historia or Nintendo though.
