I not-so-recently found some top-notch level makers for two very popular, very loved classic games; Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. With these editors, which do not require roms; they are fan made engines, you can create your own Mario/Zelda games you've ever dreamed of making.

I was hoping this would be a thread where you can post your own custom creations so if you want, you can.

The Mario one is pretty much completely outclassed by SMBX, I think. I mean, I know it's a slightly different a style, but you can make SMB1-like levels in SMBX too.
I've heard of Zelda Classic before though and it looks pretty cool.

The problem with Zelda classic is that it doesn't work properly on Windows 8.

Heard about both, though the only one I managed to operate successfully was SMB Builder. Every time I tried to open ZC an error window popped with some code shit and instantly closed. After that I gave up, I was pretty lazy to start making anything on it anyway.

The only difference between this mario one and smbx is that this one here runs the 8-bit ones while smbx doesn't it did in a early version though same with the SM64 Ghost House Music which got replaced by the SMW one.
