PLAYING TWO SOUND EFFECTS AT ONCE??

I replaced the pswitch sound effect...and now its playing the old pswitch sound effect as well as the old pswitch sound...I Tried uninstalling then reinstalling and replacing it again with the same result..Any Ideas?

EDIT: I meant to say its playing the NEW (replaced) sound effect As Well as the Old (original that was replaced) Sound effect at the same time when i hit the pswitch.

Weird. Maybe the P Switch Sound is already hardcoded in SMBX. Maybe there is another P Switch File that you can replace.

I have used the extractor that extracts all the hardcoded files and i never get any mp3's...jus the graphics files...mp3 is an option in the extractor but none are detected? Im clueless at this point.

Maybe the sound effects are saved as .wav and that's why you couldn't find any. I can't check for myself right now if there are any though.
I think I use the HQ Sound Pack, though and don't have any problems with the P-Switch sound. Make sure they have the same length, maybe?

the pswitch is under the music folder if I remember correctly.
