In the My Bramble Island level, game crashes when completing through the SMB2 sphere.
UPD: the second time I took the sphere, everything was fine, and I received a blue switch.

just finished 100%ing this absolute unit of an episode (at least i assume, i've beaten C-C1 and have 100 star coins left over after clearing all the signs), and it was a super fun package. i think the two things that stood out to me the most were:
  • the freedom of approach given to the player. namely, the fact that a lot of the levels can be reached through several different routes and the easy access to powerful tools early on (as a reward to to those who start looking for secrets right from the get-go) really feel like they give the player a lot of breathing room in regards to how the episode can be played and let them sort of "smooth out" the difficulty curve to fit them if the need arises.
  • secrets and bonuses. not just the bigger puzzles that lead to postgame content (though i found those really fun too), but the fact that there are so many hidden little extras to reward casual curiosity like 1-ups or bonus rooms really gives the sense that the episode wants you to play it (and shows a lot of thoughtfulness from the creator, you can't really put stuff like that in without very intentional design and thorough playtesting)

this one happens if you warp to another section while boss bass is on screen (but if you click ok the level continues as normal)

these two happen seemingly at random during the metroid level in world 8 while a big metroid is on screen and unfortunately both require restarting the level

I'm very happy you enjoyed this episode. As for whether what you got constitutes 100%...

yes, that is 100%! Congratulations! I define 100% as [Spend 199 star coins] and [beat the secret final boss].
Those two points you highlight were things I focused a lot on, so I'm thrilled that they landed well. Sometimes when I was testing, I would randomly jump in some suspicious nooks, and immediately noted that nook down as "yep, this nook needs a reward". The SMW Minigame Cloud NPC has genuinely become one of my favourite basegame NPCs while working on this, haha.
I didn't expect someone to figure out the meta puzzles this quickly, as the

are very easy to miss. Applause!

Thank you as well for this feast of bugs. Indeed the Snifit and Boss Bass bugs are basegame (as is the Bramble level bug Alexx posted earlier. Sorry for not replying earlier!). As for the last one, I'll take a look. That's one that looks fixable on my end.

I'd like to report this bug/glitch I accidentally found while playing the episode, in case it hasn't been reported. The player "skipped" the 5 star coin letter, and it can happen with or without enough star coins.
How did it happen? First, I beat the oasis level, and these paths were unlocked. I went to the downwards path, and I pressed up to return to the mentioned level. I pressed up again in the opportune moment and Mario ignored the letter as if it didn't exist. Please find a way to fix this. It could affect other people.
I hope I explained it well.

Whatever you do, DO NOT defeat the Big Boo boss in the Sunken Ghost ship level with fireballs spit by ice Yoshi eating red boos. I have lost a world of progress because I didn't manually save the game.

I have a problem in the level Beezo Bridge there's always this error popping up and I cant even move.

It was rather unclear and confusing, but the one getting eaten by the chomp is not real (it's a red coin). The star coin overlay in that level fixed itself after that. Once you get to it, there are many more intriguing yet conspiratorial things to explore (definitely didn't check the level editor to confirm).

When I was playing the level "Everfrost Peak" I got this error when I grabbed a purple snift, this error also occours if I grab the green snift even in vanilla levels. I notice this happen when snift balls collides with any blocks

Yes. Looking at the code, it uses savedata to permanently remove star coin 2 from the system, and automatically delete both the fake and real star coin at the start of the level.

While going over the bugs to fix, I noticed that the bugs you've been running into was fixed in Beta 5 Patch 2. Are you running an outdated version of SMBX2?

It was fixed in patch 2, from several months ago. But also I added a fix for it to the episode, so it's double-fixed now.

This bug still persists (already specified in the main post). I don't know if the same thing happens with other star coins gates, but at least with THIS one in particular, it does. Also I discovered that this bug happens when I HOLD the Up Key while the character is walking towards the Oasis level (it can't happen if the character isn't moving). And yes, I was able to reproduce this several times. I don't know if it only happens to me tbh. As for the other issues found, I played the episode with the current patch and fortunately, some of them were fixed.

Enjoying the episode so far. Found a minor issue in the world 2 castle stage. Bonked my head on the top of the level and was able to see the lava cuttoff.

This episode has been great but I've run into a problem. I attempted to apply the most recent patch to my game and now I keep getting this error message when entering any level. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This error indicates that you're running an outdated version of SMBX2. Please update to Beta 5 Patch 2, the minimum supported release. I'll fix this error in the next patch so it'll throw a warning instead.

This has been a really fun experience so far :) However, I've encounter one weird... Bug? For some unknown reason, "Jump up, Superstar!" crashes SMBX2 for me, and it does that without any warning or so. At first I thought that maybe there's something in level's script, but all it seemingly does is just changing some Defines value, and even without that script it still seems to crash. I wonder what could be the issue? It seems like no other person has encountered this.
(Just to be clear, I have Beta 5 Patch 2 and I've downloaded 1.0.2 patch for the episode)
