Is there any easy way to modify players graphics in smbx 1.4.5?

Hello everyone, I just wanna know if there is a easy way to edit mario graphics in smbx 1.4.5, by not changing game files, thanks

I mean theoretically, if you put a file with the same name as the player graphics in the episode folder it should work, but I also haven't used 1.4.5 in ages so take that with a grain of salt.

again i'd take what I said with a grain of salt, as I havent touched 1.4.5 in a long while, so my knowledge of it might be unreliable, but I'm pretty sure it works that way
