May I know what's the rubric?

We accepting any kind of levels, be wild, be creative!
I guess ANY kind of levels = no restriction in ANY way. And by "rubric" I am pretty sure a "level theme" is meant (or gamestyle: SMB1, SMB3, SMW, NO-Mario etc.).
The timing for this contest right now is either absolutely brilliant or a bit unfortunate (or you just had inside knowledge), since beta 5 is less than 24 hours old and I could imagine people wanting to try it out first.
But that's just my opinion, beta 5 didn't reinvent the wheel, it "just" refined it (ok it is more than that, but you know what I mean).
You have a whole month to design and submit your levels.
Just a little hint: This is not entirely biunique. Usually a fixed date and time (and timezone) is getting specified and maybe also something like "after that maps won`t get accepted anymore". Society demands basic rules.
Edit:

Hey all!
The new SMBX2 update is coming soon (within a month or two) and with it a plethora of new things to try in the context of vanilla.
My aim is to start a vanilla contest roughly 1-2 weeks after the release of that new version. For that, I am looking for judges.
I have no idea, how fast people are with level design around here (I am slow as like a koopa) but it could be a little bit tight. In the other case people might split up between Emrals and your contest.
Do not get me wrong, I don't want to be a party pooper, I just want to point out a few things before people end up disappointed.
(how many times did I edit this post of mine now anyway?)
