Yeah Quill can definitely be an asshole sometimes. The 8bitmushroom thing is really not OK and I'm not sure exactly when that took place but I'm not sure how it's being overlooked. In general, Quill seems like a useless admin (though he could be doing important stuff behind the scenes that the layperson doesn't see, I admit), and also somewhat immature. He never seems to take anything on the forums seriously, which is not a good trait for an admin.

I like how Knux makes al these argument and butthurt topics and nobody ever listens to him. Before a single staff locks this due to making themselves look bad or because they don't like it when these topics are produced or just hate Knux's attitude, why don't you actually read this guy's claim and try to understand his point.

I don't see Quill a lot around the forums, or the irc. But I understand that he doesn't do much and I see now that he has rage issues. If he would be demoted, I'm not sure if another admin would need to be hired as there are plenty already.

Wow, this guy really does have issues. I say he needs to lose his status, because he is doing a bad job of being an admin and abusing his powers, too.

Nothing was resolved from there.

But let's face it, Quill doesn't really do anything, and he said so himself earlier this year.

I said I wasn't doing much at the time due to preparation for exams. I do stuff now however.

Correction, you broke the rules, so I banned you. You also have a tendency to claim that everything you do that can possibly lead you to a ban is a 'joke' to try and get out of it, so don't bring that up.

You have to remember that on this forum, I'm only a registered user and I have no responsibility for my behaviour outside the guidelines of the forum rules. Quill has more because he's a staff member and also, meant to be a role model. So don't bother bringing up anything I've said or done towards Quill because it's not relevant to the point I'm trying to make - that he's an incompetent staff member.
Does that make me a hypocrite? Well, I've learned from my mistakes.

I wasn't aware that it wasn't acceptable for an admin to have feelings. You just said that he banned you for a good reason, so why are you even discussing the issue if it was clearly for a good reason?

This sort of statement does not necessarily imply a vendetta, I don't think. He just thinks you're a stuck-up, arrogant, egotistical person, which I'm beginning to think as well. Anyways, I'm not really seeing a lot of rebuttals to Knux's actual arguments here, just you telling us how Knux is an asshole. That's shifting the blame, and it doesn't necessarily make you right, it could just make you both wrong. You don't seem to be a very responsible or mature administrator to me either.

Admins are more behind the scenes than anything really. They manage topics/forums appropriately, they make sure forum rules are enforced, and do the website's everyday maintenance. It entails a lot more work than you really think. Just because you can't actually see what he is doing, doesn't mean he isn't doing anything. If you ask me, Quill is actually one of the more hard-working admins around here, not to mention, he does a lot of IRC maintenance.

Even though why is it so bad that Quill unbanned deadfish? He may spam alot and stuff but he is kinda the only one who gets banned for it because when others do it like him they get away with it easily and Deadfish gets permabanned which is kinda unfair imo.
