I need help playing an episode

Hi: I'm trying to play the SMB2 version of The Epic Quest by Unknown68D and for some reason it only show a black screen appears where the world map usually is. Only the ammount of lives appear and I cannot play it because of that. Please could you help me?

I downloaded SMBX2 from here: https://codehaus.wohlsoft.ru/downloads.php?

There's a typo in your post, "SMB2" instead of "SMBX2".

I'm having the same problem, and probably you should ask for help on the episode topic instead of creating a new topic, I'm going to post there if nobody did that already.
