People don't usually attach stuff to their topic. Is attaching the level even allowed? Regarding the level, the screens look good but they don't really represent the "chasm" part of the name. I would play this if I could.

Sorry about the download, is there an easier way? (First time poster, feeling nooby as ever)
Also, I tend to think up the name before making the level, (pro planning) so I will more likely than not change it later.

That would be due to my screenshot program having a hiccup and not liking the motion of the blocks (Up/Down).
Sorry about that.

If you are using a screenshot program, don't use it. In SMBX 1.3.0.1, just make a new folder called "screenshots" in your SMBX 1.3.0.1 directory, and press F12 while playing. This makes the screenshot less glitchy!

I didn't know that! Thanks! :D

I don't see why attaching shouldn't be allowed to be honest.

Just as a information for him and others on the old smbx forum people attached them always and also did it with graphic packs and stuff. But since other smbx forums didn't had this option people had to upload it on another site. Besides it is better uploading it somwhere else as for members who know this from the old forum when something happens with the server or stuff the attached files can stop working.

Yeah. I'm gonna say you should probably upload the level in a compressed .zip folder to somewhere like dropbox, mediafire or sendspace. Then provide the link for download in the first post. Removing the attachment. It lags the forum, IIRC. Somewhat. Try to get it up quickly. If you don't have it up by tomorrow, locking the topic until you have it ready. PM me to unlock afterwards if that's the case.

You should not remove the download Link from the Attachment that the Author was made. Seems unnecessary. You should of ask the creator through PM first instead of taking into the action of changing something on the topic. Was it working before because I never tried that actually. Also how can a Attachment lag the forum?

It looks nice as I can see but I can't download it due to removal event.

Posting an attachment of just the level is bad. Especially if there is more than just the level file in the folder. Also I might have gotten this board mixed up with a different board in regards to the lagging problem. Even still, Joey hasn't made any clarifications on Attachments. I recommend a download link regardless. Probably wont need to do anything further, however.

How about you lock this until he gives you a download link.

If the creator doesn't have screenshots or a download link to the level he or she will be given 24 hours to fix that. So no need to lock this right now

How do I go about removing the attachment?
I looked around a bit and couldn't find it. I can provide a DL link shortly.

EDIT: Nevermind, just noticed you removed it.

Yes, and a link was given, so all is good. I'm just finally loading this place for the 50th try. But I can say that it looks like an alright level for a beginner. I'm sure it'll be okay.

Thanks! I hope it's as good as you expect, it's not much to be honest, mostly just a test of what I remember since I last used this in like early 2013 or late 2012.

This level really doesn't do much at what it's supposed to.

Visual Appeal
This is one of the examples where it doesn't do much. There's hardly anything interesting in this level as there's a few BGOs at the beginning and that's it. I don't understand at all why you have the flat platform going through the ground in the fourth screen segment. It sticks halfway into the ground and creates a little bit of cutoff. The exit also should extend out to cover an entire screen and should probably be flat for being the first level of your episode.
3/10

Design
I'm going to assume you aren't very experienced at SMBX at this point. It's an incredibly short level, almost no variety in enemies (even if it is 1-1, I'd add more variety), and just the general block placement isn't very high in quality. Towards the very end of the level, you suddenly change to a grass tileset for a very short time when for the rest of the level, it's never there. If there's one thing I liked about this level, it was the coin placement. Coins are well placed at least.
3/10

Gameplay
Incredibly boring. Nothing was unique, nothing was special about this level. Enemies were scarce, which left no challenge. The moving pipes was OK, but only seemed to be there to make the level seem longer.
2/10

Music
I have nothing against the default music or anything, but I could have wished you used something new and original for music. I'll give some points, considering it does fit.
4/10

There... was plainly to say, just nothing interesting about this level.
