I guess we've all gone through this problem, lack of inspiration to create new levels.
What do you do when you not have inspiration to create new levels?

I watch SMBX videos.

I don't create levels and wait for an idea to eventually pop up in my head.

I play and watch other platformers.

I'm talented enough to take neat ideas and separate them from their source material without having it be blatantly obvious. Sometimes watching good/bad ideas made by other games and designers will put together just the right idea.

And if it doesn't, more experience. Knowledge is power, and all that jazz.

Continue working on other projects, just to refill my head up with ideas again. =P

I listen to epic video game music and then try to create a level around that.

I just gather the GFXs and music I need then I think up with a gimmick, voila I got a new level

Basically I think everyone does that : P

Valtteri's levels, projects, and graphics inspired me alot to create fancy boss battles, levels with Valtteri's graphics, and levels that involve a big load of layers and events.

I have much ways:

1. I think in the first thing that i see when i open the eyes
2. I hear my favorite videogame musics
3. I asks ideas to my friends
4. I do a see in my graphics
5. I play SMW hacks
6. I make a random thing
7. I watch bossedit8's videos
