The question is simple should I either use sednauir's world map or a smb3 based world map for my episode. Idk how to make a poll so just type in the replies.

If your episode is SMB1 styled, maybe you should use the SMB1 world map, to give a better environment. The SMB3 world map is a good idea too, because it fits any episode. By the way, you made a graphic request and I found a topic that has those ripped grass tiles. Link

Ok you should choose the world map style by yourself. You have written that exist a lot of smb3 graphics, so I would recommend you to use that.
