Plank Performance by Emral
Atmosphere 8/10: The level took place in the sky with planks, wood and other stuff. The GFXs you used was good. The Extended SMB3 Planks was a nice idea. Everything was SMB3 basically and I liked that. There was a SMB1 Axe I saw which didn’t fit to the environment at all, but that won’t affect the score since I only saw it once. The music you used wasn’t a good choice though. I’d recommend use something else. But overall you nailed the atmosphere.
Gameplay 8/10: I won’t talk much about the gameplay because I didn’t see of it. The Red Coin Ring was a nice addition. The NPC placement was good and so was the Coin placement. I wish that you could’ve introduced some new stuff or gimmicks to the level though. It would make the level a bit better.
Level Design 8/10: I did like how you were able to choose which way you were supposes to go. Nice idea there. The level was short which isn’t bad, but I think that you could’ve designed it a bit better. You could’ve made sections and some challenges or puzzles IMO. But otherwise good job on the level.
So overall I’m giving ya 8/10 on this level Emral. It was a fun level and I liked the design, but you could’ve done better. Moved to Pretty Good.
