SMB3 night background is fit, I not very care dark mode though.

I'm not sure if this site needs a dark theme, and I don't know what is bright here. Is it the text box? The sky background? The blocks?

dark reader coupled with with the prosilver theme works fairly nicely as a dark mode

It seems strange that there is no option of SMB3 Star Night theme, and I think the white blocks could be replaced by a gray version of those.

My eyes just got hurt by opening forums at night and I wondered if we would ever get a dark mode, then this post coincidentally showed up lol.
Definitely yes. And not only because of eyes getting hurt, dark colors are aesthetically better and more pleasant to look at. Just don't mess up with the Mario theme.

I changed my opinion, maybe it’s just me because I’m used to this theme but I think we’re in need of a dark mode.
