Music not playing in the editor?

To make it short, whenever I test a level in PGE the music I set for it doesn't play, nor the default music nor the custom ones play
They are mp3 files, I tried putting them inside the level folder but the problem continues. The music simply doesn't play in any format

Like, it's not playing in-game? Because if you just mean the music doesn't play when you're actually making the level (not playing it,) that's normal

Is all the music in the correct folder?
are they labelled correctly?

it may have been a problem with the installation, you can do a fresh install on a separate folder and see if it works

I don't know, which version you have to use, but seems there is a buggy MixerX version which rejects some MP3 files with invalid ID3 tags. This bug has been solved a while ago and should work fine if you run an update.
