the player sprites are differentiated by their x and y position on the sheet, starting from the top left. so the one at the very top left corner is 0-0, the one to the right is 1-0, the one below 0-0 is 0-1, etc; they don't have "names".
the easiest way to view which sprite is which is to open up "pge_calibrator.exe" inside "data/pge" in your smbx2 directory. it will let you select a sprite and then tell you it's coordinates on the sheet.
