Episode not Appearing

Postby BzarrTehAxolotl » Sun Mar 13, 2022 11:59 pm

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to load a new episode, yet for whatever reason it does not appear on the list. Do I have to keep it as a folder, extract it all into different places, make it a ZIP file, what do I have to do to play an episode?

Thanks in advance!

the cause here is probably either:

- the episode is in the wrong place: the episode's folder (the one containing the level files) is supposed to be inside the "worlds" folder of your smbx installation.

- missing world file: the episode has to have a "world.wld" file, even if said world file doesn't contain anything. without it, smbx won't recognize the episode.

if it's neither of these, please describe the process you went through in greater detail, or post the episode here so that people can test it for themselves (also specifying which version it's for).

1. Extract the zip file
2. Get the folder that was INSIDE the zip file you just extracted
3. Put in in the world folder

If that doesn't work then it might be an issue with the episode or something else

placing the folder "SMW The Lost Island Vol.1" into "data/worlds" worked fine for me. it shows up both in the launcher and inside lunaloader. make sure you've placed it in the aforementioned folder, and also try using the newest version of smbx2. (though i believe this episode should be compatible with 1.3 as well)
