Super Mario and the Dark King

So, last year I made a post in the same forum, which was about an episode called Link and the Super Mario Adventure, but ever since I abandoned that project, I wanted to focus on new projects and ideas, and now, my new project is Super Mario and the Dark King!

I've always wanted to do these types of episodes, in which Mario or Luigi get into a big quest to defeat a force from outer space, and so I ended up doing this episode. Hopefully, this project will be finished, that depends if schoolwork isn't as saturated as before. And I've also decided to include no release date! So I don't have to force myself to continue making this

The Story:

Mario and friends were having a nice night in the Mushroom Kingdom, when suddenly, they noticed something very strange in the sky, which was a glowing purple star in the sky. At first, they didn't seem to care that much about the star, but it got bigger and bigger every day. And that was when Mario and with the help of Luigi, decided to take action and go find a way to get to the star and stop it from doing something on the Mushroom Kingdom

I won't be saying what the full release will include, as I don't want to break promises

Anyway, if you are interested in this project, please let me know. If you don't, let me know too, but don't insult me. If you want me to make a support image, just say it (Although I think that's unlikely)

I will be updating this post as the project progresses

Hey everyone!

The demo has been tweaked. It fixes an issue I found in which bowser wouldn't appear in the last level of the demo. All that was removed was just the saveData values in the level, so now you can fight bowser all the times you want (although honestly why would you)

Hey everyone

Quick update here. This project is not dead or anything. The thing is, I thought the original levels I made for this episode didn't had much substance to them. I considered them to be long, boring, bland, uneventful, and had no notable gimmicks whatsoever. So now that I've improved on my level design skills, I'm now trying to remake those old levels again, to make them have a more notable gimmick, and make them be way more eventful and well structured instead of dragging them with filler. Don't really think I'll post anything else for now. I'll just update the main post as time goes on.
