A Stargate Carol [Ver. 1.2]

(Late) Merry Christmas, everyone! To mark this special occasion, the whole of Stargate presents you this wonderful little minisode to cheer you up besides the hearth and beneath the Christmas tree (if you haven't removed it yet). Traverse 10 levels made by various members from the Stargate community server, made with love and the spirit of holiday. This episode features:
-10 levels designed around the Klonoa playable
-Starry unique companion to help you on your way
-Many costumes for said companion for saving christmas in style
-An elaborate and charming shop system inspired by the one seen in Deltarune
-And more!
Side note: Yes, we're aware of that its been a while since christmas has passed, but we chose to take our time and deliver a higher-quality product as a result over rushing the episode for a timely but messy release. Refer to the Miyamoto quote, hope you understand ^-^
With the festive season approaching, YoshiSuperstar and LGL have invited various people abroad to a wonderful winter resort to celebrate christmas together. Everything was going well and preparations were nearing completion, when Christmas Lord Dark Star suddenly appeared! Having all the presents and trapping different partygoers in different areas of the surrounding land, he now keeps himself hidden away in a vale whose location can only be uncovered by gathering the presents. Its now up to Yoshi (and not LGL because they're a lazy bum) to recover all the presents and partygoers and save Christmas!

DISCLAIMER: technically unbeatable due to a bug in the final area
changelogs (SPOILER ALERT): show
-Added an indicator to each painting in the hub to indicate the difficulty of each level
-Added more checkpoints to Cliffs of Crooked Cookies and Santa's Toy Factory
-Gave Icy Thwomps and Boom Boom in Fortress of Everfrost immunity to Starry
-Fixed the Tutorial-hub connection pipe softlock, hopefully
-Fixed an issue where the checkbox toggles for the death and score counters were inverted
-Deleted progress.json from the public release
-Improved the postgame hub background
-Added a friend to the post-LDS hub
-Miscellaneous tweaks to the area leading up to the final boss fight
-Made Starry be unable to pass through npc filter blocks
-Possibly more, these were done after all the fixes were done so its kind of hard to scavenge through the dev chat logs and not miss some miniscule change >w< I don't think its a biggie.

I really want to give this an 8/10 as it is clear that a lot of thought and love was put into this episode, but there are some major flaws that hinder the overall enjoyment:
-The Mouser Boss with the rinkas is basically a boss with Rinkas in a nutshell
-Most levels need more checkpoints, especially the one with the blocks on the tracks
-The final level clearly lacks testing (the point with the cannon especially)
-The final boss is somewhat annoying, I think you should either reduce the amount of hits it takes by about a fourth or a third or give the player a checkpoint once they reach the halfway point
-I encountered a lua error upon beating the final boss
Also I just don't think Klonoa is very fun to play as personally, though that is obviously not your fault.
Side note: The Mario & Sonic music is great, I never thought I'd see someone use it.
I really liked the Deltarune styled opening cutscene though, and most of the levels were well-designed in my opinion.
As of now, I'm giving the episode a 6/10, if you fix the flaws (especially the bugs and the checkpoint problem), I'd probably give the episode an 8/10.

New update out! Mostly fixed a few miscellaneous issues as well as adding a cute little difficulty indicator to the hub :3, feel free to check it out~
