Background error

I keep trying to change the background but the game keeps crashing how can this be solved?
it's every time I create a new level and I want to set a background that game crashes and then I have to Alt+Ctrl+Delete and then with task manager to stop that game. It only works on Windows 11 and not on Windows 10 because it always works well there. But on windows 11 it keeps crashing. Do you know how to fix this?Alagirez wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 6:32 amHow come that the game crashes when you trying to change the background? Also which background? Is it custom graphic or any other hardcoded stuff? hmm...
If the "background" that you meant is the custom background that you wanted to use in your level, try to make sure that:
- The naming of your image is correct (background2-xx).
- The format of your image is either .png and/or .gif.
- Try to check if the image file that you wanted to use as a background isn't corrupted.
I don't use Windows 11 (or any Windows at that; I run SMBX in Wine on my Garuda Linux system), but it sounds like Microsoft axed a component that SMBX wants. Which version of SMBX are you using?IsaacP2003 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 6:49 amit's every time I create a new level and I want to set a background that game crashes and then I have to Alt+Ctrl+Delete and then with task manager to stop that game.
