What would you do if you had one year to live? What would you stop doing if you had a year to live?
Discuss.

Save up for a VR headset, I've been really interested in VR lately and the escapism and ability to virtually go anywhere. Although not as good as actually going places irl, but this is one year we're talking about. If I'd stop doing anything if I had a year to live, it would probably have to be staying up all night.

Be normal and wait for the impending doom. Not like everything is going right, 1 year seems a bit too long to wait.

Travel around as much as possible (especially to the West Highland Line in Scotland). In that case, Corona could be ignored anyway.

Surviving 2022 how? I mean, you've only got a year, so there's a good chan e you'd survive, but how is the question.

I would go aimlessly anywhere in the world, and take my closest friends with me.

They were mostly useless posts and necrobumps of old threads

If I want to do something with just one year: Find the love of my life, and love her until I die.
What do I give up during my one year to live: Hard one, but I'd say maybe giving up on staying up all night since I waste so much sleep lately.

1: Write as much of my fantasy novel & worldbuild as much as I can
2: find time to road trip across continental NA. And probably Europe.

I think if I had a year I would give up on money and borrow a bunch to visit places like North Korea, China, Israel, Iran, and other dangerous or otherwise unusual destinations just for the experience of it.
I would stop worrying so much about the more arbitrary social expectations in life so I can make the most of it.
I'm honestly considering this but without the financial recklessness of borrowing enough money to do all that lol. It'd suck to live a long life and most of it being wage slavery, eating cheap food, and watching crap on TV. I mean there's a lot to do and in the grand scheme of things all that matters is living a good life.

well, good luck getting out of there safely (or in terms of North Korea, even getting in there)

Well, I'd firstly scrap the idea of getting a higher education in 2023. I'd be dead by then.
Secondly, I'd only work at my current job so I'd get enough to save up for a new PC. Nothing else.
Thirdly, I'd scrap my current SMBX project and immediately start work on my final ultimate project planned.
Fourthly, I'd have to tie up some loose ends before I pass.
Finally, and most importantly, I'd find a way to marry Hatsune Miku. Some guy in Japan did it, so I know I could too. I wouldn't be able to rest easy if I didn't.
Other than that though not much of my life would change. I don't have enough money to really do anything spectacular or anything. I wouldn't really be able to change how my life works even if I wanted to in a scenario like this.

I would end my studies and focus on doing my own creative projects. I have a lot of passions that I could work on, but I definitely want to leave something behind after my death. I would also probably stop thinking about my health so much and just eat whatever I want, give up on my sleep schedule, etc. Lastly, I would obviously want to spend as much time with my loved ones as possible.

I would do whatever I want to do, within reason of course. Not about to do anything unethical or against the law and spend the rest of my life in jail, that would be spupid. Something realistic like try to break a record or maybe I'd become an independent artist?
