To fix this problem simply backup your worlds folder, delete your current SMBX folder and replace it with SMBX 1.3.0.1. That works for me, anyways.

I don't get it
How does updating just magically fix that
I've never even had that issue before

It's not just updating it that fixes it, you need to delete every content in your SMBX Folder. But make sure to back up your Worlds Folder if you do this.

Or you can just rename your world's folder, run smbx and rename it back

Ehhhh.... No.
You need to delete your current SMBX Folder.

The world.wld inside a Folder where a SMBX Episode takes place is the main key to make the Game proper no matter if it's a World Map or a Hub. So how exactly does it not work in the first place?
Maybe PC's handles differently, not sure though.

Doesn't deleting all content make the game unplayable to begin with?
Nevermind the above, but isn't yours exactly the same as having a SMBX 1.3 and SMBX 1.3.0.1 folder and just copypasing the worlds folder without deleting anything?
I'm using a 1.3 exe whith 1.3.0.1 hardcoded graphics and never had this problem. If you're referring to seeing a blank field instead of a name when choosing your episode, renaming it in the world settings menu of the respective .wld file should work.

No, I'm referring to a rare case that makes it so when you save a level in the editor it won't show up in your "Worlds" folder(Won't show up in: SMBX> Worlds> Your episode)
There is also a rare case that when you save a level folder in your "Worlds" and put custom graphics in it, the custom graphics won't show up in SMBX.

This is useful for the rare people who get this error, but it's not worth a sticky.

Maybe I don't get this one because I'm mainly working in
C:\\SMBX\Designed Levels\Levelname
but good to know that that exists.
