Why background not showing?

When I put SMB Overworld or SMW Hills, It doesn't show up in the game. All I see is just a black background. Both SMB Overworld or SMW Hills has an asterisk in the name.
Sounds like you accidentally hit the edit icon on them, which created empty background2-n.txt files in your level folder.
