Hi, I'm new at making SMBX level so I need some help.
Is there a block in SMBX that does this?

If you mean the extending block, no.

There's been mention of them being worked on as part of an NPC pack.
You can always use a version I created through layers here.

It's a quick and dirty solution in a pinch. You just copy and paste each block set where you want it in the level.

Sorry for asking too much but is there a version which the blocks goes up and sideways?

I previously made these for a remake of SMW, wouldn't hurt to put them here though.

How do you put them into the levels?

Copy and paste the items in the folder into your episode folder (where the level is), and then go to custom in the tileset item box. Make a new tileset, set it to NPC instead of block, search for the stretch blocks, and voila.
