i have a little bit of story aswell so far and a cover image i made, strap in, here it comes!
Story:
one day in dinosaur land mario was on his way to visit princess toadstool, she had sent him a letter that she has made a ton of food and wanted mario to come by for dinner! mario did not say no to such a tasty offer, who would really? on his way there he saw in the distance that the castle was under attack by some sort of small flying objects! something made him think that today dinner wont be on the menu...
as mario got closer he heared a massive booming noise from behind the castle and a shriek! after closer inspection princess toadstool was getting kidnapped by some sort of robot! mario ran as fast as his lil feet could take him and tried stopping it, but it had no use...the robot activated a jetpack it had mounted to its back and flew away. mario returns to the castle to ask around what just happend, so on and so forth, gotta work on it more :)
also heres the cover art i have right now! ill be posting some screen shots the more i work on my project.
i hope that whenever i get it done you all will be able to enjoy it! be prepared for all sorts of stuff!

today i will be working on some more levels, so far i have one level fully done and like 4 that are still a heavy work in progress. so far i have planned out world 1, there will be many more but i like concentrating on one thing first or ill never get stuff done ya know? the world map is so far done, still a bit lacking in the creativity department with the custom tiles and all that but that's coming eventually, were making baby steps! here is a screenshot of the map so far!
What else might be coming in the project? here is something i had in mind that ill have a lot of fun with probably!
three additional playable character that will have their own little story lines and levels! who are they?
some might be easier to guess than others but you can be sure who they are once this project is done!
