What is the purpose of this project?
Super Mario Bros. is a platform game developed and published by Nintendo in 1983, and this project aims to enhance and port the game to multiple devices (mainly to PC) with 60 fps and widescreen support.

I'm sorry but, isn't this basically the same as playing the original game with an emulator?

- Yup for now its just native port so its just like playing in an emulator ,but this is not the final release i'll continue to add enhancements to make it the definitive edition (+16 bit graphics option is coming soon)

- Yup for now its just native port so its just like playing in an emulator minus the HD widescreen support,but this is not the final release i'll continue to add enhancements to make it the definitive edition (+16 bit graphics option is coming soon)
