Is there anything Toad can do that Mario can't?

I wanted to make it so that you need Toad for an obstacle, but I don't know what Toad can do that Mario can't. I heard he's faster but how can I make a puzzle out of that? I know I could use the block where only Toad can pass but that would be more lame. Any ideas?

Toad’s most unique feature is probably the double jump he can use with a leaf, which allows him to jump higher than Mario can (without space to run and start flying), as well as clear low obstacles and jump up after them.

If you don’t want to require a powerup the next most unique thing about him is probably his diagonal horizontal throwing trajectory, which can probably let him hit blocks with a shell or mushroom block (or whatever) that Mario cannot, given the right setup.

Edit: He and Peach can also throw fireballs and ice balls directly upwards by holding altrun+up with the respective powerups. This could probably be used for puzzle solving by using ice or fire blocks placed above the player in a position inaccessible to Mario’s fireballs.

Toad has boomerangs instead of hammers when he get a Hammer Suit and those boomerangs can get coins. That has a puzzle potential I think.
