When you answer the "yes", It should open the command-line window where the script will run that will download the compatible 32-bit Devkit, nothing should be hidden. If it doesn't work from the launcher, please open the next directory:Super_Tree_1 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 8:35 pm
Hello there, new beginner to smbx, it seems that anytime I try and open the editor this pop up occurs. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. And yes, I have clicked it and nothing has happened, and I'm running on 32bit pc so I've tried the c++ download thing as well.
Thanks for the info, ill try this all out and respond back if any of it works!Wohlstand wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 6:50 amWhen you answer the "yes", It should open the command-line window where the script will run that will download the compatible 32-bit Devkit, nothing should be hidden. SMBX2\data\PGEx32
And then, run the "generate-build.bat" script, then wait until it will download and prepare everything for you. If successful, you can start the Launcher again, and try to start the Editor.
EDIT: If something is missing, there is a probability that antivirus (I see you do have Malware Bytes, right?) had to remove one of the files, please check the quarantine. There are very important things:
- wget.exe - the tool to download files
- unzip.exe - the tool to unpack ZIP archives
