Sorry for not being specific enough, but I really need to know HOW do I create a cutscene? I'm still new to SMBX and I would really like to know!


I need to know how to create cutscenes like this:

Events should be enough to create a cutscene. Use them to display messages, change and move layers, etc

If you want the player to be off-screen, hide them somewhere outside the screen (e.g. on top, on invisible blocks)

You'll also need custom background graphics for any special image.

You can also freeze the player on-screen and lock his controls (e.g. to force him walking around for some moments)
