Why parallaxing backgrounds didn't work?

I did a parallaxing smb3 castle background with two layers and the txt. configuration but it don't work when I test the level.

Hard to tell what's going on with literally no information. Share the .txt file. Show which background ID you're using in the editor. Show us what happens, and explain what you expected to see.

Without this it's basically impossible to tell what you've done wrong.

I expected the vanilla smb3 parallaxing fortress as the original game. But when I test nothing happens. Just the normal background.

Background 4 is not SMB3 fortress, that's Background 3. Be sure to match up the number listed in the editor, not the number on the graphics.

I changed the number of the txt code and now the background works!

Added in 7 minutes 58 seconds:
Thanks Hoeloe, I thought parallaxing background works with the background file number, not the editor number :D
