It is worth noting that Fuyu got disqualified for getting banned from the community, and SetaYoshi got disqualified for not creating a vanilla level. However, the judges have decided to judge the latter on its own merits, and it can be found in the episode, too.

Thank you to everyone who submitted! I had a blast playing through all of the levels and I think this contest had a lot of really good entries. I look forward to judging again at some poing and I really hope you all feel inspired to make more amazing content.

As always, it's been a pleasure to partake and compete! There were a lot of stellar levels this time 'round.

I had fun creating my level so I am ecstatic to know that I got two favorites from the judges. Congrats to the top 3 placers and everyone who participated!

how to get the secret exit in your level? seems impossible

So, about that, i finished the level and tested both exits. But sometime before i submitted it i accidentally deleted two of the sizables required to get to the pipe on the top left of section from the top right of section 1. I didn't realise it till long after the deadline when i played through the level again for fun, but it was already too late so i decided to leave it. Have a feeling that's partly why my level scored what it did.

edit: i'll post a fixed version onto the forums later (+ also address some of the other issues pointed out in the reviews).

Interestingly though, I checked the judge reviews (ofc) and noone complained about it, one even said "nice secret exit"

After 5 years out smbx, I can say I make it good. Such interesting contest

Wow! I was quite surprised, I have achieved a position that I did not imagine, 8th place (triple tie actually with Sux and AirShip). This was quite a fun contest and thanks to that I was also able to hone my skills in SMBX2, I thank the judges and also the participants for making this contest dynamic and interesting!

Quadruple tie, actually! ShadowStarX also got the same amount of points. Makes for an excitingly big "top 10".
